Winter begins in earnest...
With cold temperatures predicted for the next 10 days here, it feels like we may be getting our prayers answered for a decent snow year. Atop Aspen Mountain today some hearty souls skied through knee-deep, new snow! Over on Aspen Highlands we had 8 inches on the ground mid-mountain on Saturday, and then last night another 8 inches fell. And...., the snow guns on Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highlands are fully fired up.
Yahoo! More snow than we received in all of November and December 2017!
Aspen had its Fall Tour of Homes & Condos
While locals were getting their skis tuned up for the season, the Aspen Board of Realtors just finished up their annual Fall Tour for 2018. I had three properties on the tour, one in Snowmass, a four bedroom single family home in Meadow Ranch, and two near Aspen. The first Aspen home priced at $14,995,000, where the picture above was taken on Wednesday, October 31st, is a five-bedroom elegant residence atop the Five Trees subdivision. You might recognize it from the video on my website, here:

The second home, below, is a contemporary home, located 3 miles east of town, and is priced at $7,545,000. While it needs a interior refresh with new bathrooms and kitchen, it is a classic modern home, directly adjacent to thousands of acres of National Forest, with wonderfully open living and dining rooms, plus huge outdoor decks and patios:
